Hi, I’m Roxton Reed, a junior at Azle High School in Azle, Texas. I balance school at Azle ISD with life on Reed Chicken Ranch, where I help feed chickens, care for animals, and keep up with the daily work that comes with ranch life. Growing up on the ranch has taught me responsibility, dedication, and the value of hard work.
I’m proud to be a member of FFA, where I continue building my agriculture skills and connecting with others who share my passion for ranching and livestock. My dad raises Beefmaster cattle, and I’m proud to show cattle and represent the hard work our family puts into raising them. Since my parents take turns traveling with me to rodeos and cattle shows, one of them can stay home to take care of the ranch.

I’ve been around rodeo my whole life, and for the past five years, I’ve worked as a rodeo clown, helping keep crowds entertained while helping protect riders when needed. I understand that hiring a teenager can feel risky, and I know my age may cause some people to hesitate. However, when I’m hired for a rodeo, I’m there to do my job, work hard, and perform to the best of my ability. I take every event seriously and do everything I can to bring energy, keep the crowd engaged, and make everyone feel like they are part of the show. I also have recommendations from past rodeos that can speak to my dedication, professionalism, and experience.
Rodeo, ranch life, FFA, and showing cattle are all important parts of who I am. I’m grateful to be living my dream and representing my family and community through everything I do.
